Is downloading movies from telegram safe

      Telegram has become heaven for illegal and pirated content. Telegram reported that there are 200 million active dialy users. Needless to say most of the people actively using it are for the pirated content download.

     Telegram has quite few advantages like the downloads can be paused and resumed at any moment and the download speed over the telegram is also much higher than than usual torrent downloads making it a easy go for most of the people.

   It is also reported that the ISIS members also started using the telegram app for communication. It has become a place for sharing many black market details like sharing of stolen credentials.

  Coming to the security concerns that the most of the users are facing while downloading the illegal content, there is no direct or major attack reported which occurred through the telegram files. This makes the telegram movie and content downloads safe as seen so far until now. 

  There are instances where there are reports of sharing of illegal contents through the telegram but there are no reports so far getting hacked or attacked through the files shared through the telegram. 

  The content is definitely illegal but safe to Download so far as there are no major reports till date. 

  But there was a chance to manipulate the files after they are downloaded through telegram of which there are not considerable reports drawn.
